Ministry of Helps
The Church is a Spiritual Body
There is one body and one spirit… From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Ephesians 4:4,16.
It’s Parts, Its Blood, Its Life, Its Heart and Its Purpose!!!!
Every part is important!!!!! And every partner (member) is important!!!!
We need to submit ourselves to the Body of Christ.
God has designed it so that we cannot mature in our Christian lives or ministry without the help of other brother and sisters in Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16. Submitting to the Body involves:

        1.  Gathering Together (Hebrews 10:25)

Not only are we encouraged and strengthened in faith through fellowship together with other Christians, but it is in sharing together that we learn to operate the gifts in ministry that God has given us. (1st Peter 4:10-11)
2.  Hearing God’s Word (Titus 1:19; James 1:21)
We can only teach others that which we have been taught ourselves. God has given His Body special gifts to impart Truth to us… Truth that will transform lives
 3.  Listening to Instruction (Proverbs 21:11)
The Lord has given us pastors to care for us as individuals. Their instruction and guidance for our lives is very important. God has given them the task of nurturing and directing ministries in their development.
4.  Submitting to Correction (Proverbs 15: 10)
It is the pastor’s responsibility to care for our souls and keep us from straying from the truth. A teachable attitude is a very important asset in the development of ministry.
5.  Being Trustworthy (2nd Timothy 2:2; Luke 16:10 Matthew 25:21)
Faithfulness and reliability are indispensable qualities for those who will be used by God in ministry to others.
 6.  Being Zealous (1st Corinthians 15:58)
A whole hearted attitude is essential, for a half –heartedness is a quality the Lord finds repulsive (Revelation 3:15-16,19) Eagerness in everything we do is a vital sign that the word of truth is taking root in you life
7.  Being a Servant (Galatians 5:13)
The word “minister” means to serve. We can never truly minister without learning to have a servant-heart.
8.  Showing Initiative (1st Timothy 4:15)
We need to train ourselves to see what needs to be done, to meet the needs of the church, pastor, and others.
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approves, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” 2nd Timothy 2:15.
